BUSY, BUSY, BUSY

This has been a whirlwind week for all of us.  Judy has been in North Carolina visiting with her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.  The grandkids are just beginning to ride horses and Judy, the horsewoman from way back, felt they needed expert instructions.  She just returned today, 9/11, and said the airport security was very stringent, but no problems flying home. Will tell you more about her visit when she catches up on her sleep.

Pat has been making rocking horses with her daughter, Marie.  She hopes to get one done so she can put it in Jack's for our grand opening on September 17th.  She has also been on fire alert, like the rest of us country folk, and you simply cannot relax for fear you will have to evacuate at the drop of a hat.

Patricia and Misty have had a hard time getting Jack's ready for this Saturday.  She and Misty have worked very hard and Jack's looks outstanding.  Hard to believe it was just an empty store two weeks ago.  There is still a lot to do.  We are all going to hit it hard this week and WILL have a successful Grand Opening.

Sure I've kept hydrated, but I've done some lousy chair painting and have whipped out about 20 examples of homemade greeting cards to sell at Jack's.  Here is an example:

BRAZILIAN WAXING
SENIOR DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE

You pretty much have to be a senior to find the humor.  Seniors love our discounts, but we prefer the discount to be on food, drink, movies, etc.  A Brazilian Waxing is a waste of our time.  We don't have that much hair left to have it ripped out my some stranger.
